Forty Motel, nestled at 3705 W Broad St in Columbus, Ohio, presents itself as a modest lodging option with a 3-star rating. This establishment draws a mixed response from visitors, reflecting both its strengths and areas needing attention.
Guests often highlight the motel’s cleanliness and tranquility. Sonia Grant praises the motel for being “so clean and fresh with no roaches and bed bugs,” underscoring a satisfactory hygienic standard for some visitors. Complementing this, Helena Marie Salvito finds the atmosphere quiet and undisturbed, appreciating its simplicity despite an older appearance. For travelers seeking a peaceful night’s rest and basic amenities, Forty Motel answers the call with free Wi-Fi, breakfast, complimentary parking, and a pet-friendly policy—traits that align well with practical travelers and budget-conscious visitors.
However, the motel is not without shortcomings. Blaine Mcdonald’s review remarks on noise disturbances from neighboring rooms and concerns regarding bathroom cleanliness, including mold and pests. These issues reveal an inconsistency in guest experiences and highlight areas where maintenance could improve to elevate the motel’s reputation.
Forty Motel stands out as a practical point of stay for those focused on exploring Columbus. Its strategic location makes it convenient for sightseeing, recreation, and navigating the city. While it lacks amenities such as a pool, restaurant, fitness center, or airport shuttle, it covers essential needs effectively for those prioritizing location and affordability over luxury.
In sum, Forty Motel embodies the spirit of straightforward accommodation. Its blend of quiet comfort and basic facilities can suit travelers who value simplicity and cost-efficiency. Yet, the motel’s divergent guest experiences call for ongoing refinement to ensure that every visitor enjoys both cleanliness and peace. For those who seek a no-frills haven in Columbus with essential conveniences, Forty Motel rightly earns consideration as a functional, if unembellished, lodging choice.
